Just picked up a new blazer the other day. Scott worked with me to refine every small detail, even hunting around the city for the right color of buttons. In addition, he made changes to a Loro Piana Blazer he made for me 4 years ago, taking out some of the shoulder padding and re-calibrating the fit slightly. Overall, I’ve been very happy with his output for the past several years I’ve been a customer. I sent my friends here for their wedding suits, which is a pretty high compliment.

  I’ve had two items made by Scott at Sew: one was a blue navy blue blazer, and the other a grey, heavy wool jacket of a similar style.  
  
  I’m extremely happy with the following:
  
  1. The craft. Scott does full bespoke and doesn’t cut corners.
  
  2. The environment. The store is comfortable and has a very personal feel. Photos of his family tailoring garments in pre-war Europe line the walls and reinforce the interesting narrative.
  
  3. The service. I needed to have a few minor adjustments made after signing off on a garment and Scott did them with pleasure.
  
  All in all, I think this place will continue to succeed based on word-of-mouth. Selfishly, I don’t want it to expand too much because it feels like a nice neighborhood secret.
  
  All in all, I give SEW a strong recommendation.
